It strikes as a pleasant surprise of innovation in an otherwise tired franchise. The game develops smoothly and innovates a lot, definitely a much-needed step forward for the series.

Review

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare was a bold move for the series, going for a completely futuristic scenario and adding more artistic value than ever before in the franchise. Not only is the story amazing, but every scene has cinematic value, which is certainly a nice touch. The cast does an excellent job breathing life into the characters, and the script is simply amazing. It would seem that becoming a science fiction series could be a natural evolution for the series now.

The multiplayer, one of the most important elements in every Call of Duty game, is nicely worked. Even though it wasn't as innovative as the main story, it’s pretty similar to what we're already pretty used to.

Graphics and Visuals: The visual part of this game is simply beautiful. Not only are the effects on screen and graphics amazing, but the scenery is incredible. Creating amazing space battlefields, excellent animations, fluid transitions and an excellent art direction overall for this title.
Gameplay: The gameplay shares a lot with pretty much every other game in the series. However, the zero-gravity missions, space battles, and futuristic additions come in flawlessly into the game. The story mode feels rich to play and the multiplayer is excellent.
Sound: While you can usually take for granted the action music in these games, this one adds the sci-fi element to it in the most natural way. The sound design of the space scenes is genius and the voice acting is incredible too.
